The ECA course is a shortened HSE assessment programme, suitable for divers who have already been employed within the diving industry. If you are a commercial diver who has been working consistently but without any formally recognised qualification, or perhaps with a qualification that you wish to enhance, then you might already have gained enough experience to undertake this course.
You will have to demonstrate competence over a number of key skill areas which are essential for safe underwater deployment as part of a diving team. If you are successful and pass the ECA course, then you will gain the HSE Surface Supplied and Surface Supplied Top-Up certificates. These certificates, which are IMCA recognised, will allow you to work in practically any offshore worksite in the world.
If you have any doubts about your current level of experience, then this course might not be suitable for you, and we advise you to consider taking the full training/assessment route to qualify.
Certificates Gained on Completion:
IMCA Recognised - HSE Surface Supplied Top-Up (Part 1)
