Is an intensive 7 weeks long commercial diving training program allowing graduates to enter an exciting new career as an Inshore/Inland civil engineering commercial diver. Inshore divers typically work in shallower depth ranges to their offshore counterparts and are employed on subsea construction, maintenance and repair contracts close to land.
As well as our highly regarded HSE courses, Standard Offshore package delegates are assigned an additional working tasks logbook which records all training in subsea inspection and tools use conducted during the course. This is converted into a skills certificate on graduation and will list the items of inspection and tools equipment which have been used during the candidate’s course. The Subsea Skills Certificate can be presented to a potential employer to provide proof of experience gained using non destructive inspection and working techniques during the course, which can help to enhance employment opportunities
The recent expansion in renewable energy projects around many European coastlines has opened up a whole new field of operations for commercial divers and they have become a highly valuable asset for subsea installation and maintenance contracts. Inshore Career Package graduates are qualified to work in 50msw depths and are fully qualified compression chamber operators.
