Less than one hours drive from Glasgow Airport and situated at the foot of the beautiful Argyll and Loch lomond & the trossach forest parks, Dunoon's sheltered waters offers year long diving opportunities over a wide variety of depth and seabed ranges. The surrounding area is popular with hill walkers and mountain bikers throughout the year, with yachting and kayaking activities thriving during the summer months. The town itself is popular with tourists and boasts many Hotels and amenities to suit all sizes of pockets. The nightlife in Dunoon certainly seems to have met with the approval of most student divers who choose to stay in the area over the weekends!

Directions

The Academy can be reached directly by road, or from the west of Glasgow via a short ferry journey of around 15 minutes. Both Caledonian MacBrayne and Western Ferries operate on this short journey. Western Ferries is closer to the school. Our helpful staff will happily collect you from either ferry by prior arrangement.

There is easy access from Glasgow Airport which serves many domestic and international routes.
